Lego gun, LOL, both of us over to the dark side.

Service rifle in Wellington is also I believe aiming (haha) at longer ranges, 600m fairly soon. Hence partially why I am considering the AR platform.

Pretty crazy builds. Wonder what loads they are using. I'm surprised nobody has come out with a larger frame AR for shooting 75/80 gr A max, 90 gr SMK's etc for that purpose.

The club is 21 years old, it can wait however long it takes I'm guessing.

My only concern is what happen to kaitoki funding wise as the clubs the rent it out move to the landfill site.
Hopefully deerstalkers can keep it going, the non paying walk ins need somewhere to go lol

Problem is if you run them in an AR it becomes a single shot as you can't safely run them at mag length, I'm thinking with regards to NRA type shooters, but I guess if you are going to run a bigger AR you may as well run a bigger cartridge

While I know what your saying, I hope your wrong. The ranges at eskdale in Napier manages with times track closures.
That said having been involved with tracks that have been closed outright for less there is hope if the council see value in the range.
For the record I am not involved with the project in any way so my comments are just chatter-would love someone with real info on the project to jump in
