    mil-moa

This scope I was looking at has the clicks labeled in mils and its max adjustment labeled in moa, why's that? Shouldn't it be in mils as well?

Yeah, but I mean whys the scope say its clicks are 0.1mil but then says its max clicks is 56moa? I thought the max clicks would be in mils too?

Probably mil values but scope is available in mil or MOA. Lazy sales sheet.

If the clicks are in mils it's probably just they were too lazy to convert the max adjustment to mils. It doesn't matter that they have said that, if the turrets are .1 mil clicks then its a mil scope. 56moa is 16.6 mils if you are wondering

It had a mil dot rectical it was a leupold mk ar but I saw a close up on a review on youtube and it has a dumb turret. They should make them at that price but not for .223's!

Yeah there are a few of the specialist 223 scopes around that seem really good value, with good mag ranges ect, but are only offered with a 223 drop reticle....

Could it be that the scope's POI can be adjusted 56 inches at 100yds?

I thought leaning how to use Mildots would be cheaper than getting a range finder. If game all came in 1 size and shape it would make things a lot easier ...

Mildot does my head in don't understand it and don't want to bad enough trying to get a grasp on MOA, I guess that is why I like scopes with the extra crosshairs to save having to work that stuff out

The mil system is easy to understand and far more useful than a BC reticle

Simple I do not understand using mil. Ok if there was a simple way of understanding and how to use mil then I would probably look into it but every time I see it referred to it does my head in as I just plainly don't understand what the heck everyone is talking about and I never bother asking about it as I have never had the need to use something like that as I have never been into long range shooting. so if you would like to explain in in simple terms so thick shits like myself can understand it then be my guest instead of giving me a WTF

Without understanding it those extra cross hairs mean nothing but guess work
each cross hair on my scope is in 100 yard increments so easy for me to use if I know the distances I am shooting at.
