That's a precise answer, thanks I think! So a sfp NF 2.5-10 in moa can be a mils scope too.
Obviously you'd measure it with the scope in question to get it as accurate as possible . . .
Had the same scope found it dialled very well under the cap and hash’s were bang on I think 1x .250moa click is 0.07 mil vs 1 mil click being 0.10 mill so you could probably work it out that way as well for full zoom with a sticker saying what each hash is in mil “check my math though running off a distant memory Of a passing conversation”
Again my decimals may be in the wrong place could be 0.70
About 0.073 mil but again, who's counting

I'm scratching my head, somewhere I have a conversion table that gives the crossover for a MOA scope to a MIL and vice versa. Can't put my fingers on it right at the moment but it won't be too hard to make it up in a spreadsheet. With the appropriate formula entered in it would do it for you and then you can fudge it (round up or down) for readability if you wanted.
I think the one issue I noted with the conversion table is some scopes have a different thread pitch on the adjustment screws which means a different adjustment amount per full turn of dial - not really a major. I'll have a look for it later.
Yes. It's rarely practical in my view, I prefer not to have to think about it.
I've tried it in the past and it is impractical. However with a 3-10 where you simply turn it to low power (albeit with about 1/10 error if the scope magnifications are true) then maybe it usuable for @tikka 's method . . . Stacked tolerances might sink it and I'm to tired to analyze it just now. Thanks Gimp.
