    MOA outta whack

    Hey guys

I've put a Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 FFP scope on my rifle and have used it a couple of times. First was at 500 yards and second was 300 metres, both times started with a 100 yard zero.

The issue is that after coming back from the 100 yard sighting and going up X amount of clicks for the distance and only 1 moa right to counter wind, my rounds on both occasions ended up way high and way to the right. I end up chasing it down and left to centre easily with no problem, but it's a real pain in the ass that I can't just go up X clicks to be on target... what's going on? I understand that the hight could be me possibly adjusting too much, but there's no way that 4 clicks is going to throw it out to the first ring against the wind at 300 yards (wind was pretty heavy too)

    Any ideas?

    P.S target was a 300 metre F-TR class
