    Model 7 suppressor thread

Hello - Does anyone know what thread is possible on a factory model 7 in 260 at about 18" of barrel. (I don't have the rifle in hand)

    Thanks

You need to measure it properly, it could be anything.

    1/2x28 is definitely possible.
I'm about to start a model 7 build.

Knowing me, the only thing left will be the action (and that's only because nobody makes Model 7 titanium actions) lol

    Thinking...

My Model 7 SAUM 22 in factory bbl is 1/2x20, you might get away with 14x1 at 20in and would be better if possible

Thanks Brian and all - looks like 13x1 is possible or one of the 1/2" options . . . .

You could get a ½ x 20 center bit for a dpt suppressor you already have.

I have a model 7 in 708 with a hardy suppressor threaded in 14x1. Works fine. Not a big shoulder but plenty enough

    Most Remington 7 in 7-08 and 308 are 14.2 ish. 243 and 223 are often under 14mm.
I have done a 260 rem A couple of weeks ago at 1/2-28 but I don't remember the diameter.
13x1, 1/2-20 or 28 are all good. Not really enough meet for a 14x1.
