Doesn’t seem to have a shoulder to pull up against

Most M7 barrels I’ve come across the factory bbl is threaded 1/2x28 or 1/2x20

just thinking ...... maybe vernier the od of the barrel and the thread .......if the same maybe its a bubba job not done on a lathe and may not be true to the bore which would/could lead to bullet strike on the suppressor

Threads for suppressors should have a minimum shoulder of 0.50mm (so needs to be 15mm diameter behind the thread) to secure to. Doesn’t look like that has one at all.

Typical rem7barrel is 14.15mm ish. So not enough shoulder for a 14x1.
Exception are for the factory short magnum options and the predator version which are thicker.

I'd say the orig owner had that can sitting around or got it cheap- it was then "made to fit" the pencil barrel.

Hey Buzz. I would have gone down 1 size. The shoulder for the silencer is really important.
