Molot Vepr:How well does yours shoot?

I bought mine 9 years ago and apart from a mag full on one occasion never fired it.

Then I bought it over here, originally intending to sell it,but since I had it I thought I would have a go with it.
I have been amazed at the accuracy of it,for what it is its brilliant.

The first target shows two bullet strike but its really three, one of the bullets has gone clean through the first hole. The Rubber on the electronic targets is a bit tired.
That group was shot with 155grn laupa projectiles, over 44 grns norma 203-b from a Norma Case

The second was shot with the same powder charge and 165 grn swift bullest

The last group was Norwegian Ball ammo and open sights.

The first two groups are shot with the Rifle "sand bagged" the last was lying prone.

I don't know if I was lucky enough to get a good shooter or if all or most shoot like this.I have mounted a Meopta 1-4 scope on it,with an illuminated recticle, its easy to shoot but its no target scope.

Never had one. I do have a HK SLB 2000 that is phenomenal.

Signature removed because some people are intolerant of me being American.
