    Mosin impresses yet again

Finally got around to getting the ol shooter out with some crimped handloads to put through, very very happy with the results. First 3 shots are to the right of centre, wound the old wever microtrac 2 clicks to the right. Main group above centre is a 5 shot group with either a flyer or I simply pulled it, very heavy, creepy, long pull on a trigger that feels like it is breaking aound 13 lbs. Name: P1010751 - Copy.JPG

mosins dont hurt ones shoulder unless you spend your time firing 7mm08 tikka T3s with a latte in a flask beside you

^this guy. Where you been? I still want to "build" a scoped mosin, but i dont want to put a modern scope on it. Anyone have any experience with the PU style "sniper" scopes from somewhere like Kalinka optics?

4x power and very clear. Will get minipute of german. Not sure about rabbits. Might be a tad small at 300.

I use a older weaver steel tube 4x microtrac, very clear glass but I struggle to see the 10mm bullseye on a 100 meter target. Might go to a vari power weaver next as would like to shoot the ol mosin out to 500 if poss.
