Mosin-Nagant Interest?

Hi Folks,

I'm trying to make a decision.

I own and operate Smith-Sights in the states. I make adjustable sights for Mosins, and a few other goodies.

Now, I was in a rush when I signed up and used my company as my screen name. However, I see there's an advertiser section.

If there's enough interest in the Mosin-Nagant here, I might go that route. Otherwise I'll ask the admins to just change my name to Josh Smith. In other words, I like participating here as a fairly anonymous member, but if I can be of some use with the business, then I'd like to do that.

Are you folks into Mosin-Nagants in NZ?

It's Smith-Sights: Adjustable, high-impact sighting systems for your Mosin-Nagant! . I've sold to NZ and Australia before; just not in large volume at all and I'm checking to see if I need any special export license to do so.

The lack of volume made me wonder about the interest. Otherwise it would have been a no-brainer to go ahead.

I've PMed about an advertiser's price list. Here's to hoping I can afford it. Things tend to slow in the States when the weather gets nice.

Yep, love my Mosin.

Love it more since I started wearing a recoil pad! :D

I've followed a few guides smoothing out the bolt parts to avoid a 'sticky bolt'.
Luckily my one had a nice trigger as is.
