Just thought I'd ask the many knowledgeable people out there, has anyone used/got one of the Mossberg MVP .223 rifles? I'm having fun sifting through all the rifle choices out there if I ever get slightly rich.

All I know about them is that they take STANAG pattern mags. Means you can use a 30 rd AR15 mag in one if that's what spins your wheels.

I’ve just bought the patrol model with shorter barrel and open sights as I thought it was a good option for a light weight basic rifle as I will be using open sights to start with and if they are good to 100m or so I will leave it as is. I will let you know when it arrives and I have shot it.
I have one for sale if you are interested .
Just pm me.
I have one that I brought for my wife to learn how to shoot. It's no sako but is accurate enough and has taken plenty of goats and rabbits out to 200m. Had issues with feeding because the mag was to loose but any AR mag will fix that. It's does what I want it to do and puts meat on the table.
Thanks all, I have to put my ticket in for the computer at home so a bit late getting back to it. Wallaby shooting would be very fun with that drum mag and rifle mounted on the back of the truck. Always good to hear opinions from people that actually use the stuff.
So your fantasy of "if I become rich" is buying one of the cheapest budget rifles (in that caliber) in the world?
I once checked out a youtube review of Mossberg MVP 223 and a commenter wrote:
"Mommy Mommy, can I have a bolt-action 223?", Said no one ever."
The LR model is pretty cool, it's on sale right now at GC.
We're speaking low levels of becoming rich, plus if you want a utility no frills rifle it would be fine.
