About LinkBackseven with integral dovetail type rifles the ring base still requires a small screw or two for the clamping on to the dovetail, so no real world difference to the 4 small screws needed for the Talleys ring base to action top. ive seen both types share off with a big knock, but the force it took to snap off the base screws wrecked the scope too.
