@Kelton have a look at Backlanz latest bipod about to be released with knotched legs, it looks epic. I have the latest Gen 2 and bloody love it but very tempted to get the soon to be released knotched leg version.

Definitely play with one first. Maye loves his bit I sold my backlanz fairly quick wasn't stoked on it attachments system or its pan. Liked the spartan better personally but it also had issues but was much cheaper.

Definitely personal preference aye. I like the backlanz attachment system and never really use/need pan. I didn’t like the amount of wriggle on the original backlanz when attached but the latest gen 2 is much nicer. I had a nosey at a mates MTNGear one not long ago and they look like a choice bit of kit but my first impressions were they looked a bit finicky/busy with a few things I would likely not use.

Mine was a Gen 1 so good to here Gen 2 improved that wrigle and clunk was probably the final nail in the coffin for mine. Going to play with the MTN and see how I like it. The complexity is what I want to see if it's an issue. The lower model seems pretty basic though and I think I do prefer the Pic rail it seems less clunky than the backlanz. Both pretty epic products from epic NZers
