I've recently had a T2 side ported brake put on my new 28 Nosler.

My smith slightly under indexed it to allow for it eventually settling on the shoulder after being taken on and off a few times.

The brake is bloody amaising, it's a hunting weight rifle pushing 195gr bullets at 3100.

It is super easy to shoot, my suppressed 7mm08 has more felt recoil, no joke.

I just use the cheap flanged christmas tree style ear plugs on a string, they are fast to get in and I only hear a dull thud. They work very well and only about $4 a pair.
Kiwi Greg, 199p and stevodog like this.
