@akaroa1, this one might do. Controllable flow. Only problem I see is the flow needed for getting a tight lead bullet/ball out of the barrel MAY be more than the flow for safely inflating tyres, seems worth a try though as it's useful for bikes and cars too.

The little brass adapter thingame for small valves has potential to be turned down to a smaller nozzle, can be done with a file and electric drill if you're that way inclined. Alternatively, get hold of a new shrader valve and you have an instant adapter rubber nozzle to cut to fit the ignition hole of your boomstick.
