    A hot cap will generally get “slightly damp “ powder to burn
    Failing that you can take the nipple out and put a bit of powder directly into the
    Bolster and try that only then do you need a gas discharger thingy
    Most clubs keep one on hand at range days but in my 11-12 years of bp shooting I have only ever seen one used Half a dozen times
    We can normally get a blockage out by other means and normally only use gas as a last resort for some reason... not sure exactly why)My mate has one for the Bush as posted above but again only as a last Resort not to unload the rifle at the end of each hunt
    Its good to know the rifle will go off even if it’s been wet
    If it doesn’t it’s shooter error
    He got his gas thing from Hayes and associates
    It’s handy he rekons hes had to use it a couple of times
