A hot cap will generally get “slightly damp “ powder to burn
Failing that you can take the nipple out and put a bit of powder directly into the
Bolster and try that only then do you need a gas discharger thingy
Most clubs keep one on hand at range days but in my 11-12 years of bp shooting I have only ever seen one used Half a dozen times
We can normally get a blockage out by other means and normally only use gas as a last resort for some reason... not sure exactly why)My mate has one for the Bush as posted above but again only as a last Resort not to unload the rifle at the end of each hunt
