Thread: Muzzleloader kit set rifles?

Does anyone in NZ sell kit sets for these? In the US you can buy a kit set, with all the parts in a semi-finished state, you just do all the hand finishing etc and assemble it. They are only a couple hundred bucks.

I want a fun project, but don't want to spend a fortune. Cheap and cheerful is the what I'm after.

Anyone selling them here in NZ?

I remember years ago Reloaders supplies used to sell CVA kitsets but stopped. You could check to see if they still have some old stock.
Dixie gunworks and Track of the wolf will send Muzzleloaders and kitsets out. They are not classified as firearms in alot of U.S states so shipment isnt a problem. Just buy it online with a credit card. You will need to contact your AO for a import permit at this end but thats about it.

Let me know how you go, I would like to get a BP smooth barrel bench rest rifle!
