    My 22 Creedmoor is ready...

    Collecting this tomorrow.

    .243 Tikka varmint re-barreled.

20" Criterion barrel. 1:7 twist. Contoured slightly heavier than standard Tikka.
Currently Ive got 80grn ELDX and 80 Targex to try - will get some 88 ELDM.

Jaco's test target for function (his son actually). First sighter out at 5. Then mix of 88 and 80 ELDM. 88 grn 3080 fps.
    Plenty of potential here.

Will make a move on 22 CRD when factory ammo is available in NZ. Just hope they are available soon.

Barnes do a 62 and 70 don't they? Be a hell of a thwack when they hit home. @TeRei would get fizzy over that I reckon

I organised a 22 Creedmoor over 6 years ago now & have both neck turn & no neck turn reamers, I have built plenty so far

It goes best with SRP Lapua brass & is inherently extremely accurate, sub half moa is the rule not exception when using good components

I have ex USA cut rifled barrels, brass & dies in stock

Hmm, same case capacity as my swift but much faster twist. It's the go to for Canada's at the moment out to 450 metres. If I ever shoot the barrel out (unlikely as it's a Ruger no 1 heavy barrel) a faster twist could be the replacement assuming of course I'm still above ground.

Gotta thank a forum member - sent me 250 SRP Lapua 6mmCreed at a great price. Been used but annealed and ready to resize.

    and further

has been used on moose and elk a lot this passed hunting season up in north america, its really taking off.

i wouldnt bother with barns i think you will find a very small wound channel and the 80eldx 77tmk and 88edlm kill much better
88eldm are breaking shoulders joints on elk ( rokslide forum ) they hit very hard

I was shooting mine at Trentham the other day at 1000y I was warned that I might hit the camera sensors as the wind would wrack havoc on the little 88s.

    Sighter 1 = V, Sighter 2 = X, the following 5 shots were al in the V or X ring.

    The 22 Creedmoor is potent.
