Rather jealous of Tahr's new toy, been playing with a 22-250 lately but restricted to 69gn projectiles. Throwing 80 grainers and some extra powder room to keep the velocity up would be nice.
It's a lot of fun. A step up from the .223 but not sure it's really necessary.
The whole set up cost me $2,200 from scratch including base .243 rifle so it's not a cheap path, and then you add dies, brass etc.
But by cripes its grunty.
