@GWH I see your stock has stippling on the pistol grip and forestock...is this something you asked for or is it standard on his newer stocks?

I believe it is standard on his stocks now, the older ones without it were a bit too slippery by the sounds. Its real smart, i could not be happier with Kens stock. One thing that was an option was the barrel channel. All his stocks have quite a wide barrel channel, so depending on the profile of the barrel you use, you can end up with a wider than 'normal' gap. He now has the ability to fill the barrel channel to suit you barrel - I got him to do that, and you end up with a nice even gap the length of the barrel channel. Was only a $50 option, just a bit more logistics getting the smith to send it back to Ken to do it, then back to the smith to finish it all off, but well worth it in the long run i think.

Yeah, I used one of his stocks for my build last year and it does get a bit slippery when wet, I think adding the stippling is a good move.
Re the barrel channel, it fits my Proof Carbon perfect...really like his stocks

Makes sense if it saves leaves and other shit getting caught up in the gap between the barrel and the stock - worth the effort to get resolved I think.
    GWH and Woody like this.
