Thread: My new hunting rifle

Gday so about a we or so back I was after advice on a new rifle well I umed and arrd about a few nice ones on here but in the end settled on a new howa m1500 black houge stock with a leupold vx freedom 3.9x40. I read a lot of good things about these rifles and next to no bad things apart from it being heavy but think that’s just a case of needing to harden up haha if some of the old deer cullers heard them yarns they would have a giggle ! Any way I’m happy as with it so far and I know I will be when I sight in to as have used a few before and again reviews show very good accuracy. Just got to find a ammo it likes and go from there. Has anyone use the different brand hollow points in 308? Thanks to those who helped me in the quest for a rifle
