have you taken it to a store yet for them to put in vice against laser dot? why the click counting?

Over the years I have had two leupold scopes with problems, the easiest check other than checking the basic screws and mounts, is to laser sight in bore and then check that the scope redial is moving vertical and sideways. It may be possible to get a shim kit for the bases, think you said Burris bases, I have had shim kits with there signature twist in two piece bases before.
