Thread: My new light build! 6.5 grendel

Thanks to Ken at 55six, Geoff @ the gun rack, and additionally aj carr.

Mini howa in a 6.5 grendel, sharps bros heat seeker carbon chassis, mdt rail, Greystone 3k supressor, carbon butt stock tube, burris xtr 1-4@24 on a leupold offset mount, tactical howa bolt knob. Have yet to shoot it, as i have badly hurt my back, but will make up a ladder load over the next few days if I can.

Nice what cals are the other rifles?

The browning xbolt is 308, the fde mdt chassis is a tikka 300wm, and u have another at the Smith atm which is a tikka chambered in 6.5prc

there's one more rifle missing, but should be back with its family within the next 6 weeks.

3.782kg for the 6 5 grendel chassis built as it is. I could of lightened it up but getting a standard stainless barrelled action as opposed to the heavy blued, and i could of shortened the barrell and forend down a bit. This was practically " out of the box and bolted together".

What options did you look at for the stock or chassis? I keep going back and forth with what I want for my own 6.5 Grendel build.

I like the GRS laminate stocks but would have to get a blank and then have it fitted.

Would love a Pork Sword but they don’t seem to have made it here yet, except for the rem700.

mdt, sharps bro, pork sword, i don't like stocks, own 3x chassis rifles, mdt lss gen 2 with a tikka 300wm, mdt tac21 with a tikka 6.5prc and now this. I used to own a dpt... thats the only one I don't rate... oh and the orynx looks ugly as fuck, so does the mdt hs3.
