    my new long range rig

    one remington rolling block in 8x58R soon to be a 45-70(blackpowder only) work will start with a new barrel in the next coupple of weeks so thorght id post photos of progress these photos are how it came to me






    will post more photos as it gets done

    i will be shooting this out to 1000 yards
    but most of our shoots at 500
    no scope just aptures or a tube sight

    nice platform... are those LR shoots limited to black powder only, or.....??

    Most guys use something in 45cal 45-60, 45-70, 45-90, or 45-110 or a 45cal muzzle loader shooting slugs

    Yeh Phillip it originally belonged to Davey Crocketts best mate and my great great grandpa Grizzly Rushy. Bet it turns out real sweet.
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
