Thread: My night vision experiance

Ill add to this as I dabble more with it. So I took an intrest in this night vision stuff a little while ago did some research and decided a clip on would be more suited to what I was looking for as far as experimenting with nv went. I dont spend enough time out and about at night time to justify having a dedicated nv rifle just to sit in the safe 90% of its life plus the one I got can easily be mounted on any of my rifles.
I bought a sytong ht66. First experiances with it mounted on a 22lr were quite a learning curve. You have to get used to the techy side of it which Ill admit is a bit hard to grasp for an old fart whos used to hands on manual stuff. You also have to get used to your target being on a screen. Initially I had it on a fixed 4x scope with a non adjustable objective lens and that wasnt ideal, either the cross hairs werent in focus or the target wasnt in focus. Last week I bought a 2-7x32ao scope and mounted it on my 22. After having a quick set up at home this seemed to be better hoping to take it out tonight and try it.
