Need a C/E cat safe and the new regs are doing my head in

    Hey all,

I'm looking for a fairly "cost-effective" safe that will satisfy the Police's new engineering report requirements for C/E. I already have a B cat safe for my pistols but that's too small for C/E.

Thoughts on where I should shop? The only solution at Gun City is $2700, which is steep (but no doubt a quality product).

    Appreciate people's thoughts...

Outdoor supplies have an E cat one although it's a little small and you would have to confirm it fits the ever changing definition of E cat safe.

    Baronet Safes:

Baronet – TSL and Select Engineering

They should meet the criteria. There's one in the corner opposite my local Arms Officer's desk where they keep the station Bushmasters and Glocks in.

I've got one of those Buffalo River 10 gun E-cat safes, very good! they come with the Australian locks, not the Chinese ones... would recommend them.

Just because it's expensive that doesn't mean it's good.

Really nice build. I'm thinking of going with a Buffalo River 10-Gun Safe from Outdoor Supplies. Will see!

I am sure if asked he would make more, or I could help him out to get them done, dress them out nicely skin the inside so you don't see the workings.
