    You can do it with what you have but will need to use trig(maths)

    Dont you need an accurate angle as well? Which will be horizontal making things even more confusing? Prismatic compass may do the trick?

    Yep you need an angle. Every one on this forum would have a compass?
    Differing hights between points makes the math more complicated but it all depends on the degree of accuracy(or should that be precision lol)required.

    I got a compass but its in mils ha ha
    17.7 mils to a degree iirc

    My compass got to close to an AX one day so now I do circles in the bush
