    Yep you need an angle. Every one on this forum would have a compass?
    Differing hights between points makes the math more complicated but it all depends on the degree of accuracy(or should that be precision lol)required.

    I got a compass but its in mils ha ha
    17.7 mils to a degree iirc

    My compass got to close to an AX one day so now I do circles in the bush
