Just one point that I have noticed is that the magazine when its full doesn't sit in the rifle well until you open the bolt to feed a round into the breach. Just a minor point but I'm paranoid about it and losing the magazine should it fall out.

Maybe it will sort itself out with a bit more use. Everything is very stiff and tight fitting from new.

Super common, leave one round out fixes it

@viper you have got yourself in a right pickle there mate! Although it does allow for a new toy, which is always fun.
I'm holding out for the CZ 457 varmint's in the Boyds 'At-One' adjustable stock. They look to be the business and having the adjustable LOP and cheek riser will be excellent

Early days yet, interesting how no one has mentioned the Tikka or even the Bergara which review well.
I do have a soft spot for CZ, they have always been great shooters for me but keeping all options on the table at present.

Got a spare .17 hmr CZ455 in a boyds prairie hunter stock if anyones interested. Barrel has been shortened to 18" and threaded for a suppressor. Have had it set up for dedicated night shooting but not getting much use at present. In excellent condtion.

I havent had that problem but the brand new magazinecwas a bit tricky to load at first. Hopefully will sort itself out as it wears in. Not had any problem with my FF2 in 22LR so I think the design is OK.

Interesting it has a half open bolt position the handle can pop up into while carrying it with the safety on. Then it doesnt fire when you put the safety off and pull the trigger.

Its well made, accurate and ergonomics are like sako hunter style centrefires. With small differences like the location of the bolt release.

    Hi Viper
I've handled the two mentioned and the tikka would be my choice of the two, however, its barrel heavy for me and as you know carrying and walking is all part of the game. I went light weight plastic with two ten shot mags that come with the Browning and they do a lefthand, which for me working off sticks is very quick for follow-up. Never seen a bad CZ. I don't find the T bolt mag hard to load, as some one mentioned.
I am always on the look out for another T bolt. If I could afford it the blazer in 17hmr, it would get a very serious look. Just like the straight pull, once you use it.
One small detail with the Browning T bolt! the trigger isn't adjustable, I didn't like it when I first used it! because of being used to a light trigger. But now you only really think about it when changing over to the 223. But once going back to it, you settle into its hold.
