    Why start at 69 (nice) bloody inches and not go down to like 10???

    I recon 16.5" + DPT can is the thinking man's choice.

    they have also done one regarding barrel heat and effect on accuracy/barrel life , and of course had to cook a rasher of bacon on the barrel .....

    It would be interesting to repeat the test but with a hot caliber like a 26 nosler or 30/378 weatherby.
