if you reload you will get the best out of any caliber
factory ammo is always slower than advertised I have never seen any example were that isn't the case. and i am not surprised that the 7prc is the same as all the others (100-200fps below advertised)
so, then if you reload in the 7mmprc anyway why not go 7mm rem mag you will get the same out of it with handloads and cheaper more available options for Factory ammo if required as it's a common well-regarded caliber.
i think in usa where factory ammo is cheap "in comparison." and a lot of people still shoot factory ammo. 7prc is a good option..
here in nz are if you are shooting a less common or new caliber you are into firearms (ie its not just a tool for hunting as if it was you would keep it simple)
then you probably reload and if you reload then factory ammo is beside the point
Hmmm - with a few exceptions! The Norma 6.5x285 130 gn Golden Target is specced at 2851, but in my 24" barrel they run at 3120 fps, with very nice accuracy!
