in soft round nose it would make an awesome bush rifle..so yes. it would kick arse of the 308 shooting same 180 as far as both SD and BC are concerned being longer n skinnier....

a good mate has a 6.5costsmore...and I give him shit about it....good natured shit.... he shoots factory fodder and averages 1 shot per deer...all from vechille all under 200 yards... funny thing was he "thought' they were honking along at 4000fps and it shoots really flat...
I did show him proper drop chart for it....
so yip Philipo you are correct that folks buy accurate rifle to shoot factory rounds without hassle..... its a plurry Kimber too..light as hell... I do hope he cleans it better than the poor ruger .44magnum LOL.

In a Tikka T3 action with AICS mags and long bolt stop? 100%

Not in something with a standard S/A box length.

The tikka long action mag works very well too :-) not even need to replace the bottom metal or to put it into a chassis …

Until the lips spread, follower tilts when you try and chamber a cartirdge and it wedges the cartridges between the action and magazine.

Hard to clear the jam quickly and I have lost animals due to this.

When Tikka/Beretta want £50 for a new T3x 5 round mag, they can fuck off. I'll pay £65 for a 10 round metal AICS one (binderless) which allows me to adjust the feed lips.
