    Yep, you’re bang on RL26 will get you an extra 50 - 150 fps in many calibres. That’s been my experience with 284, 7SAUM & 7RM. The Hornady marketing hype is all focused on their new PRC cartridges…… but truth is the max velocities quoted rely more on the powder than anything else.

    Many of the powders the manufactures use are not available to be purchased

    The powders used often provide a significant advantage which cannot be duplicated with the ones we have available to us

    I shoot a 7mm prc .....
    this works for me . !75 gr eld-x at 2950 ft/sec , motivated by 68 gr of 2217 or 67.9 of H1000 , any mag primer you like , COL 3.3 in ADG brass , 24 inch barrel , shoots sub MOA .
