I guess the new breaked suppressors (DPT and Maniatis) are going to help here.

It eliminates the risk of losing track of the number of times fired

It’s also absolutely ridiculous to say you can’t keep one piece seperate for testing when your writing a review or an article for a magazine you literally have one job just load it shoot it load it shoot it dam site faster than pulling out a file each time probably could have fired it 3-5 times in the time that’d take

So three secs maybe to file a notch. Wish I could reload an empty cartridge and fire it in less time than that. Must have missed that part of the training manual.

I got the Nz hunter mag just for this article but was disappointed to see it was basically RL26 loads. Hopefully the next bush pig articles cater to us peasants.

Shooting 162-168s at 2850 with and ADI powder would convince me to go this route if I can get away with a stumpy barrel but I kinda want confirmation that this can be pushed down as far as 18”.

Not much point publishing anything using RL powder until they start making it again at whatever unknown point in the future

The rums certainly did what they were meant to do, but they used 101-104g of US869 to do it

We then went to Titanium’s then Titanium Alaskans with the fluted barrels but Ngamatea and Central North Island Plateau pumice dust and Ti lugs was not the best combo

Your brakes have tamed a lot of lightweights that’s for sure Greg

Still have very fond memories of the long shots pulled off with the Sendero but certainly don’t have fond memories of carrying it!

Will be a follow up to the shortening article in the October/November magazine.
