    I use a 22" 1in8 barrel on my varmint AR and I'll probably get it chopped to 19 or 20 at some point (19 would have the can only just off the handgard hence the weird length).

    I would vote for the windham as every one I have seen has seemed very well made and shoot well. And the barrel is a bit more portable than that on the stag
