Nice!
Looks like a 6 to me too.
Although the left hand side of the breech is usually stamped as such.
How does it shoot?
Cheers

Arguing with an Engineer is like Wrestling a Pig in Mud.
After awhile you realise the Pig loves it.
I haven't fired it yet. I placed a .22lr in it and it was an easy fit...may just fire it and see how it extracts to try figure out chamber?
Must be one of the early ones, as no markings at all
Very nice, mine is surprisingly accurate with the right ammo-unfortunately 20 years ago I cut it down and threaded it and fitted a scope as a pack rifle so while it fills that role very well all collector appeal is gone

awesome and very accurate I was pinging a standard pig silhouette from 25m every shot that's pretty good for an old rifle and opens my mates one you hold so the front sight is barely visible in the bottom of the v pretty much as low as you can get it without losing the front sight also he suggests not using high vol ammo in any old rolling block no matter the brand stick to subs he collect's rolling blocks any brand any Cal as long as its a rolling block action
