    New / DIY a cat ar15 requires certification?

    My mate reckons that any a new a cat or home made job need's to be certified by the arm's office.

    I have sent them an email just now but thought I'd see if you fellas had heard anything about it.

    I was planning on 3 d printing a piece that would be glued or something in between the butt and the pistol grip. Depends on how the buffer system turns out.
