    New Illegal Police Firearm Policy

Right now, Police HQ are attempting to implement a new policy where A Cat AR15 receivers are considered MSSA items. This will potentially mean that the only people that can import an AR15 receiver are those with an E Cat endorsement.

If you are asked to provide anything in writing to Police to obtain something as simple as Police mail order form for an AR15 or part, or if you party to an email from Police discussing this new policy than please get in touch. The more written evidence we have of this Ultra Vires policy the stronger our legal case is going to be.

This will potentially affect any A Cat Semi Auto, AR15's, 1022's, AK47's etc.

If the policy is applied consistently it would cover anything able to be converted to E category.

So what's likely to happen to a-cat semi auto owners if existing rifles are reclassified on their 'potential' to be converted to e-cat? Waive the licence upgrade fee, provided the FAL holder meets security and vetting requirements? And hand it over if not?

That could be a worry, having to buy and fill an E cat safe would start another serious run on my bank account.

This is the biggest police fark up since they attempted to root us over thumbhole stocks. More will come out over the next week or so but everyone needs to be ready to jump on board - other wise kiss any new semi autos good bye in 2016

If it is specifically the receiver that they pick on, would that not also mean the pump action uppers for AR15's would be affected, even though they aren't semi automatic?

FFS, why they do something intelligent and not clouded by political agendas and knee jerk reactions?
Like better security standards for FAL holders and working to ensure anyone who breaks existing laws gets nailed by the courts.
