    New M70 pices

I just noticed Guncity has a new M70 featherweight 308 in stock

    Asking $3699

Saw a new one in the green shop 18 months ago, was almost half that price, went back a week later but it was gone.

Maybe I'll hang onto mine in 708, wont be able to afford another one at that rate.

One of the few calibers I'm not interested in owning these days.

M70 have never been cheap, featherweights and std grades have always been reasonable, super grades, stainless, safari, and limited run's, as long as I have known them, were not much less than a std grade Sako. perhaps a touch more
Winchester is putting sum very nice wood, on the higher grades,
All that said, go into a shop, with a large number of second hand rifles, lots of savages, M700, few sako, Howa, CZ, but only ever a lonely M70, sitting there.
    Gun city is overpriced.

I just went and looked, at the gun city M70, its a stainless .308,
I had one, bought it 5 year's ago for 1499 Cad, shot a few deer, and now that are down sizing, for a move back to NZ, sold it for $2200 Cad, gone in Minutes, as the demand for stainless M70 is very high, could have sold 6-7 of them.
No real complaints, about rifle, bit heavy, got a couple M70 already in NZ, and a Blaser .308, no real need.
