    New one on me

Today it was taking me two shots per close range possum with .22lr sighted in properly a week or two back. Did think might be slight wobble when scope bell pushed...hmmmm got home and switched out the alloy mounts for some better steel ones...then when bore sighting same scope in new mounts a nagging in back of brain got me to twist focus ring/parrelax ring...hello the X hairs went around in a four " wobbly circle, then did it back again... Pooh's n wees... At least issue found. Swapped out scope. Yeah could just leave other scope on same place but would be forever doubting it's accuracy....what's worse, same scope was on another rifle a year ago and I pretty much gave up trying to zero it in frustration, blamed everything else but didn't twig scope may be part of issue. We live n learn.

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

colometer is handy for checking those type of things. Set it up and have a play with the scope settings and see what its doing

Its quite hard to test stability with parallax adjustment because the target goes blurry if you do it at one range.
Stability with power change is easy and is a standard test to do on your scope from time to time.
