Yeah I loved them since the first time I picked one up. Now I just need my other rifle to come home.

Bloody accurate bit of kit those, very short ammo OAL with A-Max's due to mag internal length but still half MOA shooters.
They love the 150 ballistic tip and E-Tip as well
Sweet good to hear, ill work on a load after its blooded.

Yeah - one of the better synthetic stocks IMHO and a good solid barrel too. Double check your groups when you sight in as you'll probably shoot clovers on clovers if you're half a decent shot. All the best mate - enjoy it!

Cheers for that, ill start there then. Thinking for bush hunting out of the roar ill look for an Amax at around 130gn
The all gilding copper Nosler E-Tip at 150g would be a great spook n shoot bush hunters projectile, but in reality any normal cup n core projectile 140g and up will do for bush work.
I need to take into account i want to use it for open tops too, out to 400m, ill be putting my VX3 cds on it.
Out to 500yrds ----Nosler 150g ballistic tip for everything. (Or amax)
sweet
With the velocities you will be able to get from a wsm the 140gn Accubond would be hard to beat out to 500 yards.
A brag thread with no pics = fail
Should have it inside 2 weeks they reckon, then ill put a pic up.

160gr Accubond. All sorted.
I like the X-bolt for a factory rifle, especially the walnut blued version.
Ive still got that WSM brass if ya want it Malhunting.
What stock did you get ? Just asking as Dead Eye Dicks have had a 7wsm synthetic x-bolt in their shop for friggen ages
Synthetic stock. Was a second choice as I wanted a. 280 but that was never going to happen

The 140g Accubond works superb, even at 7mm08 velocities.
I used the 160AB @ 3260fps and give it the big thumbs down, was not a quick killer but in fairness the closest deer I shot with it was 330 yrds.
Trademark of the accubond, conflicting reports.:)
