    New scope help needed

    Team...
Looking for a new scope to shoot out to 400-500m. Have a vx3 2.5-8 B&C but not enough grunt at the top end. Looking at a dial up. Have all but sold myself on a vx3 3.5-10 CDS but open to suggestions/offers. Budget upto $900~
    Cheers

Woodys scope is mint but too grunty at the bottom end. I do mostly bush hunting but like having enough zoom if i was to do some slip work/tops etc. Looked through a 9 power next to my 8 power on the weekend at some deer 1km away and i noticed the difference

Get a 3-9x33 ultralight vx-2 and fit a screw on dial. I’ve shot with mine on a 14.5” .308 out to 665yards with much success

Don’t discount other brands mate leupold isn’t the be all end all
    I used to own a vx3 4-14 b&c and it was a great scope
But i now have nikon monarchs or buck masters on the rifles
Great kit mate and wayyy cheaper

Optics on the monarch are compareable to the vx3 if not a bit better imo

@Gibo where did you get dials with a zero stop for a vx2??
Yeah only looking at leupy because not a bad price and has dials. Nikon monarchs are beautiful but not dials like the CDS.

Got mine from Reloaders, then they sent me a 2mm ball bearing to press into the hole in the turret which creates the zero stop
