Hi all
Looking to upgrade rifle scope, currently have the leupold vx3i 4.5-14x40 and cannot fault it for what it is. I'm looking for something with a little more zoomies and elevation dial though. Wondering about the Burris line of scopes, has anyone any experience with these?
The reason I have not upgraded yet is because the system is have works perfectly and even with the small field of view offered by the 40mm lense I am able to get straight back on what ever shoot at for follow up shots, i have dropped my rifle in a creek bed and the rifle bounced on rocks with scope down, off a kitchen counter when baggy tail dog caught the barrel end and the zero never altered.
How many people that have the Burris scopes have dropped them and how much of a knock can they take before the zero is affected? I don't care about paints scratches or anything, just interested in the stability of the scope as a whole.
Cheers
Burris Signature on trade me and person is looking to swap with Leupold like yours. I can’t send the link but you should find quickly
