New Steyr KL-12 straight pull rifle

    Hi Guys ,

Steyr have brought out a new rimfire , toggle operated rifle , in 22lr & 17hmr , looks nice , BUT my concern would be the receiver , which looks like its Aluminium , if so I am not that interested , reason , is It may not have enough strengh to ensure a high degree of accuracy .
The Annie and the Izhmash toggle rimfires use steel actions , both are accurate , so my concern would be that accuracy maybe reduced by not using steel action .

    Later Chris

New Steyr KL-12 straight pull rifle

It's probably got a plastic washer somewhere too, being a straight pull, so is undoubtably a disaster in the making.

    Blaser and BRADS like this.
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

That dreaded washer shows up everywhere! Yeah bugger that.

It's a .22 it will be fine accuracy wise no matter what it's made of.
