new trigger
so a while a go i had a major cock up and broke the trigger on my a bolt. after lots of stuffing round trying to get a new one id given up . i get call from an uncle and he's got a mate who likes to tinker w things, so i think well its farked at the mo so its worth a go , i drop the rifle off at uncles and promptly forget about it, after a while i get the call its back. so off i trot , i was thinking that it was going to get tapped and a pin put in so it work. i don't know who this guy is but he's a clever bastard. he'd cast a new trigger in bronze same profile and had a play w bits its like glass so smooth compared to a stock trigger . That looks sweet, the bronze provides a nice contrast.
Sometimes I enjoyed doing other peoples projects more than my own, It's a very different feeling working on something you wouldn't normally do. I used to help some car guys at work design/build some odd shit sometimes and even got involved redesigning/building gyrocopters for a while.

looks perrty now. shoots good too now just have to get out on the hill. i learnt a few things browning triggers don't like being out of the stock, the importer isn't a lot of help , yanks still have a hard time understanding our accents and the new regs make getting bits into nz a lot harder .
