Went to the Dawn service, home for brekky and what to do till family arrive on such a glorious Douthland morning?
Well heading to the range to sight in the 22-250 after I swapped out scopes on it (to a Vixen 3-12×40 that @nor-west kindly lent me)! Grabbed the 223 to continue my experiments in the effects of "hold on its POI.
I had the range to myself, the rifled were shooting better than me so it didn't take long.
Back home here I was just thinking how blessed lucky we are here (sitting in the sun) and tge thought struck me how similar the rifles I'd shot this morning are.
They are both very slim, light in a definite "european" way that yanks never seem to get quite right.
Schultz and Larsen "Legacy" in 223, Weatherby "Varmintmaster" 22-250. Both glorious to carry and shoot.
