I've been thinking about one of. These as well looks like a good scope . The only thing I can't understand is if they are a next level down from the NSX scope that aren't built so robust why do they still weigh so much they are a heavy scope. I have looked the 4-14 version they are still very nice.
According to Nightforce they are built to the same standards as there other scopes, I think it may be just the componentry that's not quite as high speced as there higher ends scopes to keep the cost down. They are on the heavy side for a mid range scope tho. however good buying I reckon if you don't care about the weight.
Still a bit lighter than the NSX. I have a NXS on one barrel and really like the optics so was wanting another and thought the SHV looked a good option.
Will have to have a look at one in person.
the word i hear out of the states is same scope and where they save the coin is a lot less models
(4 models 2 recs Illumination and non Illumination) and a different zero stop and the dials are different too.
wish i had of known before i dropped the cash on me NXS.....:nose bleed:
