Nightforce gives you a lot more reticle choices. Its a pity the Sightron SIII Mildot reticle doesn't have 1/2 mil graduations like the Nightforce MLR. For the money the Sightron SIII with exposed turrets are pretty good but to my eyes I prefer my Nightforce. The overall build quality and "feel" is better on the Nightforce (and so it should be for what they cost). I've got a NSX 5.5-22x56 MLR and a Sightron SIII 8-32x56 Mildot/Mil. The sightron is slightly lighter. If I was after another long range targety scope I wouldn't go for a 8-32 Sightron. Where I shoot the mirage doesn't allow the use of much over 25x so would have been better with a 6-24. Due to the reticle choice I'd go with a 2nd hand Nightforce as I prefer Mil's.
