Nikko Stirling Panamax scopes (or ??).

I have a nice wee CZ455 bull barrel Varmint.
Recently bought it 2nd hand, as new...and it really is 'as new'.
It came with a Victoptic 3-9 scope (hmmm...not very good).
I would like to use the CZ as a spare for the odd target shoot, and maybe for bunnies (but paper punching, metal silhouette, etc appeals more).
Been looking for a scope in the 6-24 or 8-25 range.
Found the Nikko Panamax scopes (also a similar style Nikko Diamond).
The Diamond are a better 'quality' I guess...but the Panamax may be all I need.
Anyone have any experience with the Panamax range of scopes?
An Arken would be fine, but spendy.
    Don't want a huge 60mm lens either.
Just a nice wee scope to fit on a varmint sporter rifle that will be used to play with paper punching now and then.
I already have a dedicated benchrest rimfire (another CZ), but that's another story.
    So yeah...Panamax...yay or nay?

Nice glass for cheap money got one with holdover dots for sub 300aac but useless for me as dots only work at 9 power with 100 zero out to 300 , bit much wind in this country .

    Thanks for that.
I have also just discovered Accura scopes (Aussie stuff).
Their 'Reacher' model may be all I need, but it's Nikko Diamond $$.

You seem to like the Nikko Stirling line of scopes Grey Kiwi.
Didn't you buy one of those huge Nikko Stirling Diamond Sportsman 10-50×60? How did you find it's quality?
A good job and a good wife has been the ruin of many a good hunter.

    I have a Panamax 6-18 x 50 illuminated and a Diamond 4.5-14 x 50 here if you'd like to borrow them for a trial/look.

    I have a Nikko Panamax precision 4 -12 ×40 on a CZ455 17hmr.
For the money it has been excellent. Nice reticle and it comes with 5 different turrets for different calibres.
Low light performance isn't amazing but good enough.
I think they are $270 if you shop round.
Mines probably done 700 odd rounds and zero has never moved. Great scope in a handy magnification range for the money.

Have a Panamax 3-9x with hmd reticle on 223 rifle (package deal). It’s done a lot of hard hunting over a couple of thousand rounds shooting. Nice clear glass and never shifted zero. Dials ok but I don’t bother with that. Mil-dots work ok when calibrated. Use with Strelock. Was going to replace with a Burris I already had but have never felt the need. Have had Nikko Stirling scopes before and had good use out of them. Would buy again. You don’t have to have flash Harry shit to be effective.

Thanks @ROKTOY, generous offer...but I've looked through an 18x scope at the indoor range and it was not quite 'enough' scope for our teeny 1.5mm centre dot.
I figure a 8-25 would be about right to serve double duty as a sometimes target gun, sometimes varmint gun.
    Much appreciate your thought.

Yes, I like the Nikko Stirling scopes. Used them 40 - 50 years ago for a lot of shooting.
The Big Nikko is a lovely scope. Had a wee issue with mine that didn't suit.
Moved on to a Sightron Sll 36x42. That was OK (ish) but a tad dark.
Finally manned up and bought the Sightron Slll ED 45x45 Competition scope.
    Yeah...that works! But terrible spendy!
