Hey mate, awesome scopes for the money, the glass is really good, I have one on my 7mmRM, they punch well above their price tag!
Try theriflescopestore.com, good prices, buying in NZ will cost you a packet, also fishpond.co.nz have them for a local online store.

Personally I think the "best average run of the mill" scope is the Leupold. I have them on most of my standard hunting rifles. I use Zeiss on my specialist distance weapons and just so I didn't become a complete snob I put a top Weaver on my Sauer and love it ... time will tell. The thing I don't like about Leupold is the wholesaler only provides special pricing through Hunting and Fishing so all mine came from Optics Planet USA and I save a $gazillion. My mates Monarch hates temperature changes and rainy days with fogging.
Like toby says mate you will prob pick a well priced Nikon in hastings hamils which unless there is a Hamils in Gissy that would be your closest
there cheap enough to buy here in NZ.I was considering getting one of these scopes but then went with a leupold because I got a deal through a shop I sometimes work at.For there price the Nikons are really good scopes IMO.
They are a weighty scope, glass good as can be expected in that price range
I prefer others but there still a nice scope for the money
Thanks for the input so far, its great to hear peoples views, I used to have a leupold on my rifle first off but it had the lr retical but was paralax free at 150 and most shooting in bush is below that, so it made it difficult to gain confidence in the setup I had and I ended up not trusting my gear so I got rid of it, im folding for the monarch as have seen good reviews and I like the feature where you can get the custom turrets to suit your round and rifle and they are nicely priced at 4scopes.com
Go for it mate, they are good scopes.

If you get it theres this.
Nikon Spot On™ Ballistic Match Technology Program

Yea Toby that programme works for the bdc retical, im looking towards the nikoplex retical with the turret to suit my rifle plus rounds, once I found out about it was sorta I want that scope as I want trust in my gear and know without doubt for a clean, kill, so I feel wat is easier than using a range finder turning the turret to the distance cross hairs on target and sending one out the spout, rifle has been sent away to dpt last week to have suppressor fitted, hopefully pick up next Friday then order a scope
The programme also works for the nikkoplex, for doing your drop charts and you can order your custom turrets through it.

I have literally put 10,000 rounds under Nikon scope's the past few years. I do some freelance work for Nikon Sport Optic's in the US. Believe me, they will get the job done and the flagship of the line, The MONARCH Series will do all you ask of it. I have hunted in minus 30 deg. F ( -34 deg. C) to 110 deg. F ( 43. deg. C) and never had an issue with any of my Nikon products. The MONARCH will give you excellent low light clarity as well as a sharp crisp picture all other times. As others have said, it is also an excellent value for all you get for your money. Believe me, if this scope didn't do the job, I wouldn't be doing work for the company that makes them.
Here's a pic of my .300 Win wearing a Nikon MONARCH with BDC Reticle. I'm not sure if you can access Spot On in NZ, but it will definitely save you a lot of $ on ammo while sighting in and making shots that count. It can also be purchased on iTunes for <$5US.
