    Norico .22 mag feeding

    hi team,

mate dropped me a Norinco .22 bolt action.

the mags delivering the last 3 round with the tip of the bullet too high for the chamber to feed ie its sticking too far up.

any quick fixes/mods or is if buy and new one time?

    Thanks

Is the tip too high or is it the whole bullet?

If the latter does it feed any better if you don’t push the mag all the way home?

Clean it first, esp the inside of the back of the magazine, if that doesn't work, then tutu with the feed lips (close the front of the feed lips ever so slightly, like a tiny amount)

I had that issue a while back and moving the mag higher actually got the bullet more lined up, push the mag higher and give it a shot.
If that doesn’t work try it in conjunction with queezing the front lips together a few thou, that may assist in holding down the nose of the bullet.

I put up with this for 2 years. Bought a polymer cz452 mag. Problem solved, feeds perfect! Played around adjusting the lips on the original steel mag and works ok now. But make sure you only bend the lips i made the mistake trying to bend them and in the process bending in the body and the follower was getting jammed about the 3rd round.
